Death
A memorial service for Barbara S. Carter will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Arlington Bible Fellowship Church by Pastor Jerry Kellogg. Private burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Madison Township, Hancock County. Friends may call at a luncheon after the service at the church. A second service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Epiphany Methodist Church, Loveland. She died early Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at her residence. She was born to Walter and Sylvia Furr of Kenton and they survive. She married Jerry Harding and he survives. She also married Dr. Bob Carter of Loveland and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sheri (Dan) Barnes and Robynn (Mark) Drerup, both of Arlington; a stepdaughter, Julie Zeller of Simi Valley, Calif.; two stepsons, Jeffery Carter of Cortland, Calif. and James Carter of Los Altos, Calif.; a sister, Betty (Jay) Woodruff of Marion; a brother, Jeffery Furr of Kenton; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. She earned a bachelor of arts degree and a master of administration and supervision degree from Bowling Green State University. She was a former director of curriculum for Head Start, a teacher, a principal and finished her last year in education as the early childhood principal in Mason. She was a member of the Epiphany Methodist Church in Loveland. Memorials may be made to the Epiphany Methodist Church, 6635 Loveland-Miamiville Rd., Loveland OH 45140, designated for the Love and Action Group; to the Bible Fellowship Church, P.O.
