Death
Mrs. Winnie Furr, mother of Mrs. Frank MacLain of Indianola, died in Des Moines, Iowa, a few days since, and the body was brought in on No. 9 this morning, to be taken to Imperial for interment, which will take place this afternoon. The body was accompanied to Imperial this morning by Mr. and Mrs. Frank MacLain of Indianola, and by Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Townsend of Des Moines, Iowa, — Mr. Townsend being a son of the departed. Mrs. Furr was an aged lady of remarkable character and force, and is well known in Imperial and Indianola, having resided at both places. She has been ill for a considerable time.
