Death
James H. Furr age 84 of Marianna passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Jackson Hospital. He was of the Methodist faith and had lived here for 5 years. He was a veteran of WW II and had served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Furr and his grandson Grant Furr. Survivors include; three sons, Andrew Furr and wife Marsha of Marianna, Mike Furr and wife Pam of Columbus, Ohio and J. D. Furr of Fairport, Ohio, Grandchildren Sara Hissing and husband Mike, Mollie Furr and Jimmy Furr; Great Grandchild Connor Furr; and his caretaker and friend Scotty Taunton of Marianna. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. in Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
