FURR, LOIS (Age 85) of La Plata, MD on April 2, 2004 at Civista Medical Center. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Wilma Paul; husband, James D. Furr; sister, Alda Kelley and grandson, Al Stone. Survived by daughter, Carole Stone; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 211 St. Marys Ave., La Plata, MD on Tuesday, April 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7 at the La Plata United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD. Memorials may be made to Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation, Inc., 819 2nd St., S.W., Rochester, MN 55902-2985 and/or United Methodist Church, PO Box 2824, La Plata, MD 20646.The Washington Post on 4/4/2004

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF LOIS PAUL FURR Notice is given that CAROLE ANN STONE, 45958 CLARK'S RD., CALIFORNIA, MD 20619 was on APRIL 21, 2004 appointed personal representative of the estate of LOIS PAUL FURR who died on APRIL 02, 2004, with a will. Further information can be obtained by reviewing the estate file in the office of the Register of Wills or by contacting the personal representative or the attorney.
All persons having any objection to the appointment (or to the probate of the decedent's will) shall file their objections with the Register of Wills on or before the 21ST day of OCTOBER, 2004. (6 months from date of appointment) Any person having a claim against the decedent must present the claim to the undersigned personal representative or file it with the Register of Wills with a copy to the undersigned on or before the earlier of the following dates:
(1) Six months from the date of the decedent's death, except if the decedent died before October 1, 1992, nine months from the date of the decedent's death; or
(2) Two months after the personal representative mails or otherwise delivers to the creditor a copy of this published notice or other written notice, notifying the creditor that the claim will be barred unless the creditor presents the claims within two months from the mailing or other delivery of the notice. A claim not presented or filed on or before that date, or any extension provided by law, is unenforceable thereafter. Claim forms may be obtained from the Register of Wills.
