Beloved wife of John Thomas Furr, Mother of Rachel Furr Canard, John Thomas Furr Jr., George Grayson Furr, Robert Gill Canard, Minnie Ella Canard Glascock, Onie Canard Mercer, Ruth Ellen Canard Coomes. Lurlie was the daughter of the late James W German & Ellen "Ella" Lewis Payne. She is survived by brothers Aubrey Tilden German, Sirevelin Sylvester Jerman, Raymond Lewis German and Cleveland Hendrix German. She is also survived by sisters Ophelia Canard, Geneva Gray, Melissa Canard, Hyancinth Vane Smith and Docia Lacey. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ulysses Grant Canard, her parents and sisters Cecilia, Rolla, Theosalonian and brother Beverly German.Endnotes
