Virginia Lee Valade, 85, West Plains, died 9:35 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, in Brooke Haven Healthcare. She was born March 27, 1923, in Washington, D.C., to James and Juliette Lyon Furr. In 1938, she was married to Joseph Adrian Valade Sr., who preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Valade enjoyed her family and spent her last few years enjoying the many beauties of the Ozarks. She was a devout Catholic and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Valade is survived by 14 children, Marie Julliette Blackwell, husband, Bill, Albany, N.Y., Joseph Adrien Valade Jr., wife, Ann, West Plains, Mo., Joseph Albert Valade, Wilmington, N.C., Marie Madelene Copeland, Decatur, Ala., Joseph Andre’ Valade, wife, Diane, Ruckersville, Va., Marie Virginia Klusman, husband, Mike, Mtn.
