Jean Mavis Furr (Age 84) On Friday, June 5, 2009, of Arlington, VA. Beloved wife of the late Harry William Furr, III; loving mother of Jean Sandra Rogers, Harry William Furr, IV and John Kevin Furr. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd., on Wednesday, June 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 3901 Cathedral Lane, Arlington, VA 22203 on Thursday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. Interment National Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.The Washington Post, Washington, District of Columbia, June 8, 2009
