Death

Judith Kay “Judy” Furr Marks, 79 of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the afternoon hours of Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV; following a brief illness. She was born September 2, 1942 in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late Hayward and Mildred Garrett Furr. Judy is a graduate of Glenville High School, class of 1961. She worked as a sales associate for Cherry Dale Farms and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren whenever possible, and living the quiet life in West Virginia.
Surviving is a son, Lawrence G. “L.G.” Marks of Glenville, and 2 granddaughters, Geraka Marks of Glenville, and Amanda Greenlief of Clarksburg, WV. Along with her parents, Judy is preceded in death by a brother, Danny Furr. Judy’s request for cremation has been honored and a private celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
