Death

Dorothy E. Henslee, 83, of Lincoln,NE died August 26, 2010 Broomfield, CO. Dorothy was born on a farm near Lawton, Oklahoma on May 11, 1927 to Isaac and Imma Furr. She graduated from OSU in 1942 and dedicated her life to teaching school in the Oklahoma Public School System. She attended First Baptist Church in Oklahoma and Berean Church in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Henslee, in 1996. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and is survived by her three children and their families: Steve and Robbin Henslee, Jackson and Kathleen, in Georgia; Jim and Linda Snyder, John, Hannah, and Tristan, in Colorado; Dorothy lived with her son's family, Don and Julie Henslee, Austin, Chelsea, Collin and Brandon for the past 2 1/2 years, in Lincoln. She was blessed to have wonderful medical, hospice, pastoral and companion care in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held in El Reno, Oklahoma on September 3rd at Huber-Benson Funeral Home. Memorials can be designated to Lincoln Berean Church.
