Death
Mr. Kinney, 63, a construction contractor, died Nov. 17, 1993 at his home after a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 16, 1930, in Waterloo, Iowa, he lived there until moving to Rochester in 1955. From 1949 to 1953, he served in the Navy. On June 19, 1954, he married Lynn Hauser in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His wife is a retired registered nurse. Mr. Kinney was a member of American Legion Post 92 and the Rochester Eagles Lodge where he served as president in 1991-92. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dawn Kinney, Diane Furr and Denyscq Rain, all of Rochester; a son, Curt of Mantorville; four grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Lund of Waterloo.Rochester Post Bulletin, Rochester, Minnesota, November 19, 1993
