Death

Kimberly Lynn Furr, 67, of Williamstown, WV, passed away on September 4, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg, WV, on December 12, 1956. A daughter of the late Clarence Stewart and Hattie Matheny Stewart. Kim loved to crochet, and she enjoyed going to church and out to eat, especially with the Class of 1975. Kim was baptized at a young age at the George St. Church of Christ in St. Marys. Later in life she attended the Evergreen Bible Church in Williamstown. Kim is survived by her sister Sara Edgar of Newport, Oh. Nephews Greg Edgar, Richard Stewart, niece Amanda Vanvleet and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Furr, and two brothers, Bill and Bob Stewart. The family has honored her wishes to be cremated. It is being handled by Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation. There will be a private memorial service for the family at a later date.
