Early Life: She was born August 31, 1946, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to Douglas Cochran and Mildred "Midge" French Cochran.Life's Work | Service | Interests: Karla loved to sing and blessed many with her beautiful voice. One of her most joyful moments was joining the Mormon Tabernacle Choir during the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple dedication. Karla loved to beautify her surroundings with her love of gardening. She enjoyed watching sporting competitions, loved traveling, trivia, and was an amazing cook. She was also very thrifty with a penny. Being a mother and Nana was the most important privilege in her life. Karla Jo Cochran Butler passed away August 8, 2017, in Provo, Utah. She was 70 years old.
Survived By: Her four children: Andrew (Angie) Butler, Bethany (Rick) Fox Chrisi (Cole) Sorensen, Drue Butler; and 10 grandchildren.
