Death
Mary Jane-Nelson was born near Danville, Ill., March 16, 1852. She became the wife of Alexander Furr at Covington, Ind., Feb. 7, 1883. Five children were born to this union, two dying in infancy and the other three surviving their mother. The children are: H. J. Furr of Lincoln; Mrs. C. C. Hubbard, Everett, Wash., and Mrs. W F. Pratt of Havelock. Mrs. Furr is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Furr died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Hubbard, in Everett, Wash., June 27, 1928. She was seventy-six years old. Her husband died Oct. 26, 1904. For the last four years she had made her home in Washington.Lincoln Nebraska State Journal, Lincoln, Nebraska, July 8, 1928
