Richard Duane Kneller, 78, of Sullivan, IL formerly of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 8:22 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Richard as born on October 13, 1939 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the son of Clyde Lucien "Pete" and Nellie Violet (Anderson) Kneller. He attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1957. Richard worked for Firestone in Decatur for 35 years before his retirement. He previously was a mechanic at Northtown Ford in Decatur, IL. Richard was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Shelbyville, IL and enjoyed mushroom hunting and watching his grandchildren's activities. He married Rosemary Stirrett on March 12, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Kneller; sisters, Lou Ann Hinton and Linnie Campbell.
