Death
Charles Ernest "Moose" Jett, 61, of King George County died at his residence Monday, Nov. 19, 2001. Born in Fredericksburg, Mr. Jett worked as an excavator. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4123. Survivors include his wife, Judy Jett; a daughter, Betty Jane Furr of Amissville; three stepsons, Robin Pratt Briscoe, Devrin James Briscoe and Darrin Glenn Briscoe, all of King George; four sisters, Palma Blom and Margaret Morgan, both of Stafford, Anna Johnson of Suffolk and Mary Schools of Warsaw; three brothers, Earl Jett, Paul Jett and John Jett Jr., all of Stafford; one grandchild; one stepgrandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. E.T. Bourne officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
