Death
Mrs. Lucretia Henry died at her residence, No. 410 Doyle avenue, Tuesday evening, Feb. 22, aged 84 years. Mrs. Henry, whose maiden name was Furr, was born in Woodford county, Ky, came to Illinois in 1830 and was married in Morgan county in 1832 to Thomas Henry, who survives her. For over 55 years she was a member of the Methodist communion, and exemplified her faith through a long life of trial, usefulness and self-denial. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. M. B. Raymond, of Burlingame, Kan.; Mrs. Thos. Fenlon, of Howard, Kan.; Mrs. C. W. Hayes, of Galveston, Tex., and Mrs. J. C. Hughes of this city. The funeral service will occur at her late residence this afternoon. Neighbors and acquaintances are invited without further notice.IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 2-24-1887
