Evelyn Sue Brooks Manley    Age: 81
Of: Hermitage, TN      Died: Saturday November 26, 2022, in White Bluff, Tennessee. She was born August 15, 1941, in Sylvia, TN, to the late Newt Isaac &Velma Felts Brooks. She was an active member of the Church Alive in Mount Juliet, TN. She was best known for her love for others, her marathon phone calls to her best friend, Mary Anne, her love of baking, sharing with others, for always making sure that you felt welcome, and for making sure that you never left her house hungry. You would often hear her say “make yourself at home”, “are you sure you’re full?” and “just have a little bit more” when you were around her.
Evelyn will be remembered for her fiery spirit and her love for God. We will miss her timeless recipes, her calls to check in on us, and her love for the holidays but we are thankful that she is no longer in pain and has received her ultimate healing as she walks on streets of gold.
Visitation: will be 10 – 1 pm Monday November 28, 2022, at the Spann Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Mrs. Evelyn Brooks Manley will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday November 28, 2022, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin page officiating.
Interment: will be in the Sherwood Cemetery.
