JEFFCOAT, Elbert Elbert Junior Jeffcoat Mr. Jeff 80, of Goose Creek, widow of Thelma Mae Rhinehart Jeffcoat, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Trident Medical Center. The family and friends of Mr. Jeffcoat are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Entombment will be at Plantation Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home including a military Bell service at 7 o'clock. Mr. Jeffcoat was born September 7, 1925 in West Columbia, SC, son of the late Harvey Weldon Jeffcoat and Carrie Elon Shumpert Jeffcoat. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Mr. Jeffcoat was a veteran of three wars; WWII, Korean War & Vietnam War. Survivors include, four daughters, Patricia A. Angle of Summerville, SC, Rhonda Leigh Furr (Wayne) of Simpsonville, SC, Jackie Steffensen (Mikkell) of Summerville, SC, Vickie E. Runion & partner Shelby Glenn of Clayton, NC; three sisters, Doris Jeffcoat of Gaston, SC, Beverly Lorick of Gaston, SC, Deborah Jeffcoat of Gaston, SC; one brother, Ronald Lee Jeffcoat of South Congaree, SC; four granddaughters, Stephanie Angle Lanzolla (Vincent) of Clayton, NC, Amy Furr Scholtes (Tony) of Simpsonville, SC, Amanda Furr Stewart (Joseph) of Greer, SC, Nikkole Marie Steffensen Davis (Jermell) of Charleston, SC.
