Death
Mrs. Josie Swanson Furr, age 37, wife of Charles Furr, died of a complication of diseases at 1 p. m, Sunday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Swanson, 712 West Second street. The funeral will take place at 2 p. m. today at the residence, with burial in Pleasant Walk cemetery. Mrs. Furr had been in failing health for ten years and had been bedfast for three weeks. She was born in Anderson and spent most of her life here, although for the past three years she had lived at Kingman, Ind. She is survived by her husband; one son, Albert Furr; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Fowler, of Anderson, Mrs. Ray Sullenbarger, of Newcastle; Mrs. Lula Purdue, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Marshall Klauber, of New York; and two brothers, Charles Swanson, of this city, and Frank Swanson, in service at Paris Island, S.
