Death
Alice Fetty, 92, St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Feb. 11, 2007, at the local hospital. Alice was born March 1, 1914, in St. Joseph. She married Paul Fetty on July 8, 1933, in Savannah, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Fetty was a member of the Family Worship Center.She worked as a massage therapist for Dr. McPhail, and owned and operated Mrs. Fetty's Tanning Salon. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Ira and Ida (Collins) Parrish; grandson, Jeff Richey; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include son, Davey Fetty; three daughters, Dixie Furr, Diane Sipes and Deborah Bravo, all of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.Service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph. Interment: Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation: after 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Family Worship Center.
