Death

Mary Rose (Boggs) Wentz, 89, of New Sewickley Township, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born August 14, 1927 in Century, WV, the daughter of the late Bailey and Ethel (Lytle) Boggs. She was a member of Victory Family Church. She is survived by a husband of 64 years, Harold Glenn Wentz; a son, Roger (Suzanne) Furr; three daughters, Debbie (Richard) Kmit, Glenna (Kindred) Ferguson, Valerie (Thomas) Dziabiak; 7 Grandchildren; and 8 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Zawoyski, and Gloria Wentz. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 1133 Church St., Ambridge, www.gabauermatterfuneralhome, where a service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor John Spencer of Victory Family Church will officiate. Interment will be private. The family requests that any donations be made in Mary's name to Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, 1000 Dutch Ridge Road Beaver, PA 15009, or the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
