Death

Doris Elizabeth Furr, age 84, VA passed away at Brookside Rehabilitation and Nursing Home on September 19, 2020 in Warrenton, VA. She was a devoted mother and wife who later became a private in-home caregiver for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Furr was a beloved family Matriarch filled with the love of God and an infectious joyful spirit .To know her was to love her she was a strong example of a Godly women with an unwavering faith even in the darkest of time she shined .Doris was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Furr, Sr. in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Martin of Remington, VA; her son, Joseph J. Furr, Jr. of Aroda, VA and his wife, Michelle; five grandchildren, Racquel Martin, Lakin Cottom, Jessica Tyler, Kayla Colbert, Kari Furr; and eight-great grandchildren. A visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 6 to 8pm at Moser Funeral Home. A funeral will be on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00am at Moser Funeral Home.
