Death
AUBURNDALE -- Mr. Raymond Cecil Epperson of Auburndale died of heart failure Sunday (March 28, 2004) at home. He was 80. Born in Attica, Ind., on Aug. 15, 1923, he came to Auburndale from Sterling, Ind., in 1956. He was an insurance agent for Western and Southern Life Insurance Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Winter Haven Christian Church. Mr. Epperson is survived by his wife, Florence Epperson; sons, Raymond Epperson Jr., Winter Haven, Stephen Ray Epperson, Auburndale; brother, Robert Epperson, LaFayette, Ind.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Crisp-Coon Funeral Chapel, Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Auburndale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.Endnotes
