Death

Linda Benson Weaver, 67, of High Shoals, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018. Born in Front Royal, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Billy Benson and Priscilla Schaller Benson. Mrs. Weaver loved crocheting, animals and most importantly, her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her love for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Weaver. Survivors include her children, Tammy Still (Jason), Jon Patrick Weaver (Amy) and Jonn Ryan "Bo" Weaver; siblings, Jan Phillips (Steve), Mike Benson (Gloria), Debbie Finch, Shirley McNeish (Jim) and Lisa Hanson; eight grandchildren, Travis Wells, Briann Wells, Skilar Still, Jason Still Jr., Haleigh Still, Ben Weaver, Addison Weaver and Savannah Weaver; brother-in-law, Gene Weaver; sister-in-law, Sandra Weaver and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Oconee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Collin McNeish, Blake Patat, Jason Still, Travis Wells and Nick Patrick. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors. Flowers are accepted. Lord and Stephens, West is in charge of arrangements.
