Death

Margaret J. Pratt (nee: Myers), affectionately known as “Peggy Jane”, age 74, passed away on July 11, 2021. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Mark and Margaret (nee: Sullivan) Myers. She was a school teacher and taught in the Catholic School system. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother, enjoying the time spent with family. Loving wife of the late James N. Pratt. Devoted mother of Megan Furr, Michael Pratt and the late James D. Pratt. Dearest mom-mom of Kieran Furr. Sister of Michael (Essie) Myers, Matthew (Joanne) Myers, Maureen (late Ted) Wootten, Michelle (John) Rowan, Marilyn (Joe) Evers and the late Mark (Sandy) Myers and Mary Lou Coleman. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Gathering on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 9:15-10 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd & Wolf Streets. Funeral Mass 10 AM. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
