Katherine “Marie” Morris, 93, of Ruckersville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born November 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Lester and Julie Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil Earl Morris; Two brothers, Lee and Journey Morris; Two sisters, Dorothy Lewis and Bernice Wood; daughter, Ann Furr; and son, Cecil E. Morris Jr. She is survived by her brother, Norman Morris; children, Joyce Wood (Wayne) of Ruckersville, Harold Morris (Debbie) of Ruckersville, Evelyn Weatherspoon (Dennis) of Lake Anna, and Cecilia Morris (Mike) of Maryland; Nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. A visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 12 pm to 1 pm. A service will directly follow the visitation beginning at 1pm. Ryan Funeral Home of Ruckersville, Virginia is in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
