Death
COLEBROOK TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Kinsman man was struck and killed by two vehicles early Tuesday morning on Route 322, authorities said. Glenn Furr was patronizing the Colebrook Lounge when he ran out to the road, Ashtabula County Coroner's investigator Tom Despenses said. A preliminary investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, shows a Chevy Impala driven by Arne I. Siekkinen of Williamsfield was westbound on Route 322 about 2:25 p.m. when he struck a pedestrian, later identified as Furr, who was laying down in the westbound lane. After being struck by the Siekkinen's vehicle, a Toyota truck driven westbound by Kevin Bell of Orwell also struck Furr, according to the OHP report. The South Central Ambulance District responded to the accident. Furr was pronounced dead at the scene, Despenses said. Both drivers, who were on their way to work, were not injured, according to the OHP and Despenses. Alcohol appears to be a factor for the pedestrian, OHP said. Furr's body was sent to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office for an autopsy and toxicology report, Despenses said. The crash is still under investigation.KINSMAN, Ohio – Glenn William James Furr, age 23, of Kinsman,OH, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016. He was born April 14, 1993, in Warren, Ohio, a son of Kevin E.
