Death

Naomi J. Elliott, 82, of Cardinal Nursing Home, formerly of Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle, passed away on Monday In Cardinal. She was born on June 7, 1934, in Gary, IN, to the late Henry Albert and Zada Jane (Furr) Howell. On June 10, 1956, in Fowler, IN, she married Robert W. Elliott, who preceded her in death on May 11, 1992. She is survived by her 3 nephews, Tom (Christina) Felix of Griffith, IN, John (Carol) Elliott of Great Bend, KS and JamesElliott of Newton, KS; and a niece, Jan (Joseph) Rieland of South Hutchinson, KS . Mrs. Elliott was a former member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star, both in Knightstwon, IN and the WTCU (Womens Temperance Union). A graveside service for Naomi will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday June 30, 2016 in Fowler Cemetery, Fowler, IN. Kaniewski Funeral Homes, 201 S.
