Death

Phyllis Emmart McVearry, of Riverdale, MD, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. She was born to the late George William Emmart and Mabel Furr Emmart on September 18, 1940 in Washington, DC. Family and friends were Phyllis’ passion and delight. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Phyllis was the greatest gift we ever received. We will always love, cherish and remember her. Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband, Donald; son Stephen, daughter-in-law Frances, and grandchildren Emma and Amanda, of Bethesda, MD; her son, Scott, daughter-in-law Julie, and grandchildren Brittany and Michael, of Severna Park, MD; her son, Mark, daughter-in-law Karen, and grandchildren Madeline and Daniel, of Catonsville, MD; her son, Robert, and son-in-law Rick Clark of Washington, DC. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Clinton, MD. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org.
