Death

Effie Linda Sullivan of Salisbury, Md., died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at John B. Parsons Home in Salisbury. Born in Preston, Md., she was the daughter of the late Rockwood Finley and Effie Covey Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James M. Sullivan Sr. Mrs. Sullivan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She frequently traveled with her husband when he conducted revival services. She was a member of the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Salisbury. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca S. Furr and her husband Ronald of Dunkirk, Md.; two sons, James M. Sullivan Jr. and his wife Ellen, and John W. Sullivan and his wife Sandy, all of Salisbury; grandchildren, Antoni F. Hanlon of Hagerstown, Jamie B. Sullivan and Dean J. Sullivan, both of Salisbury; a brother, Howard L. Coleman and his wife Myrtle of Bethlehem, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers; and four sisters. A funeral service will be held today, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Brian Bright of Felton, Del. will officiate. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Contributions may be made in her memory to Bahama Islands Holy Bible Missions Nassau Andros & Blackpoint, P.O.
