Death

LIMA — Robert William "Bob" Salsburey, 64, died at 6:38 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at his residence in Lima, Ohio. Robert was born on May 20, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Virgil "Abe" Salsburey and Marian Jean (Crites) Salsburey. On Wednesday, December 31, 1980, he married Christina "Chris" Hardeman. She survives in Lima. Bob was a member of the Lima Eagles Aerie #370 and the Lima VFW Post 1275. He retired from Goodyear Automotive and Veyance Technologies and had worked for many years at R.D. Jones Excavating. He was a frequent customer at Bob Evans and Waffle House and was an avid shopper at Meijer and Chief. He made many friends there. He was an avid fan of any racing and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Homer) Furr, of Lima, OH; and a daughter, April (Ric Makin) Salsburey, of Lima, OH a son, Josh (Amanda) Salsburey, of Lima, OH;, nine grandchildren, Tiffanie , Teeara, Alexis, Kylee, Jada, Hailey, Jayce, Ric. Jr., Braylon and a great grandchild, Kyren; four sisters Peggy Frysinger, of Lima, OH, Diana Coates, of Lafayette, OH, his twin, Rebecca Harrod, of Lima, OH and Betty Mikesell, of Lima, OH; lifelong friend Rob Hamill and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by: a son Robert Lynn Salsburey. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m .and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Burial will follow at Allentown cemetery.In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
