Death
Funeral services for Mr. Jesse F. Jenkins, age 72, of Beechgrove, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Howard Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 31 at the funeral home. Mr. Jenkins passed away Saturday evening at Medical Center of Manchester. Mr. Jenkins was born in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Adron and Marie Furr Jenkins. He was a self-employed owner/operator of J & B Construction. Jesse attended St. Paul Methodist Church in Manchester and was the president of the Manchester Area Senior Citizens Center. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was also preceded in death by four brothers, Eddie, Robert, Paul, and Russell Jenkins and one sister, Margaret. He is survived by one son, Kevin Jenkins of Belvue, TN; fiancé, June Dye of Beechgrove; three brothers, Larry, Perry, and Gary Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.Endnotes
