Death
Kenneth LeRoy Rueff, 74, of Bradley, IL., passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Presence St. Mary’s Hospital, Kankakee, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais, and from 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Manteno Church of the Nazarene until 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens of Memory, Kankakee. LeRoy worked at Quaker Oats, Secretary of States Office, Bourbonnais School District and retired to driving a bus for the St. George School District. LeRoy was born on August 30, 1938, in Shelby County, IL., and graduated in the Shelbyville Class of 1956. He was the son of Kenneth and Mildred Furr Rueff. His wife, the former Marilyn Sue “Suzi” Murphy, whom he married on June 25, 1965, preceded him in death on February 28, 2011. Surviving are son, Andrew L. Rueff of Bradley, and daughter, Sarah (Stephen) Weidner, Jr., of Bradley; several grandchildren: Alysse, Chelsea and Jared Rueff, Mark, Zachary, Kaitlynne and Jaycob Weidner; one great-grandson, Zayden; his stepmother, Hazel Rueff of Shelbyville; sister, Linda Glick of Shelbyville; two sisters-in-law: Linda (Wes) Mills of Bradley and Shirley (Woody) Moore of Effingham; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn Glick, and Joyce and Lewie Hanson.Endnotes
