Alice Louise Walters, age 87 of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was born May 1, 1925 in Galion, Ohio to the late Harvey and Lillian Spraw. She was also preceded in death by her brother Harvey Spraw, Jr. Alice is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arthur Walters, Jr.; children, Diana Brady, Dale (Karen) Gardner, Shirley (Mike) Furr, Ronald (Laura) Gardner, and Tina King; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, January 2nd at the RUTHERFORD-SHROYER FUNERAL HOME, 1278 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43222, where a Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 with Deacon Ronald Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Central Ohio Chapter, 1379 Dublin Rd Columbus, OH 43215.
