Death
Pamela Sue Doyle, 35, died Dec. 26, 2011, at her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1976, in Lima to Ernie D. Furr and Mary J. Doyle. Her father and stepmother, Chris Furr, survive in Lima. Her mother also survives in Lima. Miss Doyle was a member of New Life Christian Ministries. She was a 1995 graduate of Perry High School, attended Bluffton University and received an associate's degree in criminal justice and a bachelor's degree in business management from Rhodes State College. She had just finished an internship with the state of Ohio in conjunction with her degree in criminal justice. She had worked in the insurance industry in the Lima area for 10 years and was currently a manager at Buffalo Wild Wings and a barmaid at the Brownstone. She was a compassionate person who was always willing to help others in a time of need. She was a dedicated daughter, mother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was passionate about her children's education and took an active roll at Perry schools as a member of the PTO, the Commodores Anchor Club and even coaching basketball. She was an avid supporter of Perry schools and its athletic program. Survivors also include a son, Malik T. Dillard, at home; a daughter, Kamiyah J. Doyle, at home; paternal grandmother, Betty Furr, of Lima; three siblings, Ernie Kaylor, of Lima, Jessica Kaylor, of Florida, and Ryan Furr, of Lima; her children's godparents, Jackie and Scott Querry; eight aunts and uncles, Robert (Melanie) Doyle, of Atlanta, Deb (Larry) Mason, of Wapakoneta, Lynda Doyle, of Atlanta, Sharon (Robin) Cavinder, of Wapakoneta, Buck (Jan) Furr and Sondra (Fritz) Lawrence, both of Lima, Donna (Curt) Anderson, of Wapakoneta, and Ed (Stacy) Furr, of Lima; several cousins, including Amanda Mason, of Lima, who was also her special friend; lifelong friends, Jennifer Phillips and Michele Wireman, both of Lima, and Jamie Campbell and Jamie Bonito, both of Columbus; and her former husband, Mark Dillard, of Clearwater, Fla. She was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Roy Furr; and maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Jean M. Doyle. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in the gymnasium at Perry High School. Pastor Edward Tibbs will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel.
