JOSEPH L. SIMMS, SR. "Bo", On Thursday, October 6, 2011 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of Marjorie M. Simms; father of Joseph L. Simms, Jr. (Annie H.) and Brenda L. Furr (H. David); brother of the late Patricia Ann Payne; grandfather of David A. and Michael J. Furr (Amanda). Also survived by two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr. Alexandria, VA on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Mt.
