Death
Norval "Pete" C. Furr III, 63, of Flagler Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Pete was born in Charles Town, W.V. and moved to Flagler Beach 5 years ago from Charles Town. Pete served his country as a United States Marine in the Vietnam War. He was the Superintendant for the City of Charles Town, where he also served as a voluntary Fire fighter for 25 years. Pete enjoyed Fishing, building things and old cars. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patty; son, Michael Gregory and his wife, Lisa of Inwood, W.V.; daughters Rachel Furr of Rockville, MD., Dorothy Rosado and her husband, Marcio of Parkland, FL; sister, Judy Edwards of Charles Town, W.V.; grandchildren, Caitie, Kyle, Brooke and Eva. Donations may be made in Pete's Name to V.F.W. Post 8696, 47 Old Kings Road North, Palm Coast, FL 32137. The family of Mr. Furr entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.Daytona Beach News-Journal, April 8, 2011
