Death
Mary ‘Maxine’FURR, 69, of Loveland, passed away Aug. 4, 2008. She was born on April 25, 1939, in Pontiac, Ill., to Leonard and Nona (Taylor) Harvey. She lived in Indiana before she moved to Loveland, Colo., in 1992. Maxine was married to Ralph Furr in October 1992 in Loveland, Colo. She worked for ShopKo, Swadley Drug and Wal-Mart. She was a member of Eastern Star and Buck Creek United Methodist Church. Maxine loved bird-watching and woodworking. She loved being outdoors, motorcycling and “shooting.” She is survived by her husband, Ralph J. Furr of Loveland, Colo.; children from a previous marriage, son, J.R. (Nancy) Beedle of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters, Tricia (Markus) Maroney of Fort Collins, Colo., Jerri Lou (Allen) Beard of Goshen, Ky., Susan (Jerry) Janssen of Wingate, Ind.; brother, Mike (Dianne) Harvey of Spencer, Ind.; sisters, Jenny Hayman of Veedersburg, Ind., Florence Northcutt of Crawfordsville, Ind., Vicky Harvey of Plainfield, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one daughter, Deborah. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Allnutt Hunter Chapel.
