Death
Veedersburg - Lela Osborn FURR, 86, of 302 N. Newlin St, Veedersburg, died at 5:45 a.m. today in Woodland Nursing Center, Attica. She was educated in Veedersburg schools and attended DePauw University. She was a member of the First Christain Church, Theta Nu Chi sorority and Business & Professional Women's Club. Mrs. Furr was a former partial studio employee and librarian at Veedersburg Library. Born July 9, 1890, she was a daughter of John & Olive DeAth Osborn of Veedersburg. She married Manford Furr Sept 12, 1915 at Lafayette. He preceded her in death in November 1941. She is survived by a brother, Lawrence of Veedersburg. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Parham Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Rev. Charles Wood officiating.
