(Abt 1753 - )

Events

BirthAbt 1753
Knick References1753This "Benjamin" is very hard to trace. Van Alstyne claimed that Petrus had a son Benjamin, and that Benjamin had children. However, Van Alstyne didn't offer any proof, and nobody has ever confirmed.
Knick Lineage17531. HJ / 2. Lourens / 3. Petrus / 4. Benjamin (this person)
Knick Generation Number17534
Extra information1783Years later there was a Ben Knick who married a Maria Hiserodt. They weren't born until the 1790's. See Benjamin J. (son of John and Susan). Thus, the Ben in the 1783 baptism was a different man.
Extra information1783In 1783, Benj Knick & Anna Maria Haasrad sponsored baptism of Benj D Knick. Baptism sponsors were sometimes married, but not here? This church scribe used "ditto" when sponsors had the same last name (i.e. were married)? No dittos here.
