EMIL DEICHES
Emil Deiches, pioneer in the picture field in Albany, N.Y., died at his home in that city after a brief illness. He was the first theatre manager to offer continuous vaudeville in Albany and among the first to show pictures.
At one time Mr. Deicher [sic] managed a string of 36 theatres in the northern part of the state. He was born in Austria. He was president of the New York Vaudeville Managers' Association and is survived by his wife and son, Alexander.

According to the 1920 Federal Census, enumerated on January 5, 1920, the family owned a home at 185 Dickens Avenue, Albany NY.
Emil was a real estate manager, theater owner.
