Individual Details
Joseph Turkel
(1910 - Abt 1942)
mail of WCT 11/12/1998:
Josef Turkel was a grandson of Chaim and a son of Dr Samuel. He was also brother of Bronia Turkel Landau and uncle to Karl Landau.
In a picture WCT sent, Josef is the first person on the right. George says the print was taken a short time after Frieda and Malvina left for USA and he believes it was Purim 1931 at Moses' home in Vienna. Other guests were not identified (but person third from right bears likeness to Simon?). Josef Turkel was later killed by the Nazis.
