Individual Details

Markus (1801-1891) was claimed the "founder" of Andrew's clan. We haven't found any official record supporting this claim. The only reference to his existence is a record about his death in 1891 at age 90. Markus was born about the same year his cousin(?) Mordechai Turkl (1801-1844), father of Israel Menachem Halevi (Alter) Turkl. Webmaster's mother once mentioned a family connection to Binshtok and Kupferberg. Therefore webmaster believes that they were cousins. Israel Menachem Alter Halevi's father died in 1844 while this individual died in 1891.
