Samuel Türkel
(1850 - Bet 1888 and 1940)
Nessia Leichter nee Tirkel (who is g-daughter of Mordechai and g-g-daughter of Moshe) prepared a family chart around 1983.
This chart was presented at a family meeting of Aug 12, 2000 at the Alterman's house in Poleg, Israel.
Accordingly webmaster believed that if this Samuel was born around 1850 and that he could be the founder of the "SAMsters".
Later webmaster found another Shmuel who was born about the same time married to Rachel Mondschein having together at least four children as listed herein:
Salomon 1869
Esther 1872
Meir David 1874
Henia Rivka 1888
There is another record on this database listing Samuel Turkel born 1845-51, who married Alte Mondschein having at least three children as follows:
Meir David 1876
Michael 1880
Elias 1882
On a later occassion (May 28, 2002) Nessia told webmaster that the Shmuel she considered was rather Moshe's brother. Currently, this issue remains an open question and Samuel - husband of Rachel Mondschein - is listed herein as a son of Moshe.
