Bill Forsyth, 67, of Odessa, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, in a truck accident in Howard County.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Bill was born November 2, 1939 in Odessa to Sherman and Margaret Forysth. He has lived in numerous oilfield communities from Texas to North Dakota. In the early 1980's he and his wife Sue began working as a truck driving team. The Forsyth's moved to Odessa in 1994. At the time of his death he was working for Southwest Convenient Stores as a fuel transporter. He married Sue Tiner in Lovington, NM on November 6, 1960. He is preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Margaret Forsyth.
Survivors include his wife Sue and his son Doug Forsyth of Odessa and daughter Tonya Moore and her husband Cyil of Roy, Utah. His brother Sherman Forsyth his wife Hazel of Pearland, TX and his sister Nelle Moore of Odessa. He has three grandchildren; Eric Moore, Curtis and Josh Forsyth and several nieces and nephews.
