Mrs. Talitha Ellon Stell, 70, of Hamburg, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her residence in the Promise Land Community. She was a native of Fountain Hill, Arkansas but resided in Hamburg for the past thirty-nine years. She was retired from a local electric power company and was a member of Grace Fellowship Temple Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Stell, her grandson Henry Earl Chappell, Jr., her parents Everett J.D. and Geraldine Smith-Wesson, and her brother Lewis Wesson. Mrs. Stell was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing games on her cell phone, and she loved helping senior citizens.
She is survived by her son Robert Davis of Joelton, Tennessee and her daughters Joyce Lawson of Morrilton, Karen Barber of Winchester, Kentucky, Linda Faulkner of Monticello, Denise Edwards of Bell Bucker, Tennessee, Rhonda Wood of Hamburg, and Vicki Jordan of Benton. She also is survived by her brothers Robert, Royce, and Kenneth Wesson, all of Hamburg, as well as twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Services at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery.
