STELL Lettie Eileen Parsons Stell. Born August 30, 1917 in Appleton, Ohio, died February 8, 2005 in her home in Union, Washington. Survived by her sister, Beulah Moats; and grandchildren, Madison Stell, Savannah Stell, and Zoe Wood. Preceded in death by brothers Harold Parsons and Ivan Parsons and sister Bernice Sweeney. Eileen devoted her life to family, friends, and community; and will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor. Her greatest joy was making people laugh, and those she leaves behind are left with countless good-natured memories. A passionate bridge player, Eileen never stopped learning and striving to become better at everything she did. Her courage, strength and generousity were integral to who Eileen was. She never complained while winning her battles against breast and colon cancer, and to the end, had no doubt her leukemia was transitory. She was very active in her church and community and provided countless hours of companionship and comfort to friends in need. A memorial service will be held in Shelton, Washington, at the Shelton Presbyterian Church, 210 West Shelton Valley, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2005.
