Paul E. Jones, 77, of Orangeburg, S.C., died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at Bull Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing begins at 1 p.m. Mr. Jones was born in Amite, LA, a son of the late Homer R. and Clara L. Jones. He served in the US Army and retired from American Importers in Rowesville. Survivors include a son, Richard Jones, of Orangeburg; a daughter, Susie Campbell, of Lexington; three grandsons, three granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, a sister: Peggy Morrison; and beloved friend and companion, Marie Singletary, of Orangeburg. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ruby Lee Jones; a daughter, Paula Jones; and siblings Reggie Wilson, Thomas Jones and Linda Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North, S.C., (www.mcalhanyfh.com) and other times at the home of Marie Singletary.
