Hugh Alvis McKinney, age 60, died January 22, 1987, in a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1926, the son of William Henry McKinney and Onie Mae Porterfield McKinney. He was retired from Miller Transport in 1983 where he was a truck driver, was a retired vice president for Teamsters Local No. 568, was a member of East Main Baptist Church, and a resident of El Dorado for 27 years. Survivors include his wife, Viola B. McKinney, of El Dorado; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Diemer of Benton; two brothers, Henry B. McKinney and James B. McKinney both of Strong; one sister, Mrs. Louise Connor of Strong, and one grandchild.
