Nancy Botsford, 73, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at the Promise Specialty Hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi. A native of Ashley County, a resident of North Little Rock for the past 30 years and a former resident of Portland, she was a retired travel agent and a member of the Portland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Johnny and Guy Botsford of Vicksburg, MS, and Leo and Don Botsford of Portland; two brothers, James Blocker of Shreveport, LA, and Billy Blocker of Arcadia, FL; six sisters, Viola McKinney of El Dorado, Mildred Campbell of Pensacola, FL, Helen Ikner of Bossier City, LA, Jane Curtis of Longview, TX, Sylvia Norris of Milton, FL, and Ginger Kinman of Hot Springs; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Ethel McKlown Blocker and a brother, Richard Blocker.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, in the Portland United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Freeser officiating. Burial was to follow services at the Portland Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be Buck Streeter, Billy Grimes, Jim Young, David and Graham Pamplin and Jake Gay. Funeral services are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
